Lisa Epps-Cuba

Board Member

Epps-Cuda is the Fire Inspector/Fire Prevention Officer for the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire, with 29 years of service. She is the Fire Marshal for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pitt Panthers at Heinz Field. She also oversees all of the fireworks, pyrotechnics, permits, inspections, and escorts for all concerts, plays and special events in Pittsburgh. She alone has trained 3,000 individuals and businesses in fire prevention techniques.

She's won multiple awards including the Red Cross Hero Award for outstanding community leadership, City of Pittsburgh Living Legend and First Responder Awards, the Harriet Tubman Shining Star Award and many others, in addition to sitting on several boards.

Lori Weems

Board Member

Lori Weems is the Program Manager of Social and Racial Justice/Health Equity at Community Care Behavioral Health. Ms. Weems is a master’s level behavioral health professional with over 30 years of experience, She is passionate in the fight to tear down the stigma around behavioral health within Black and Brown communities and to normalize talking about and seeking help to promote healing and mental wellness.  She joined Community care in 2017 as a Program Manager and provided project management over various process improvement initiatives across the organization. While at Community Care, Ms. Weems has been a champion of diversity, health equity and inclusion and provides leadership for Community Care’s Social/Racial Justice work. Her enthusiasm for social and racial justice, led to her being promoted to her current position.   She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Duquesne University and a Master of Science degree in Community Mental Health from Trinity College of Vermont, where her thesis focused on systemic racism.
